Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (22:00 - 06:30) Experience: 2 Years Required License: Valid State License Required Certifications: CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA Must-Have: - Experienced in sterile processing. - Ability to float between units. - Strong knowledge of surgical supply and case picking. - Team player with a motivation for quality. Description: The Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for the preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments. This role requires an understanding of aseptic techniques and sterilization methods. Candidates should have experience in a high-volume sterile processing department. The department specializes in neuro, orthopedic, robotic surgeries, and general service lines. A commitment to teamwork and maintaining quality standards is essential. Weekends will be required as part of the schedule. The position may involve floating to different units as necessary. Travelers with a minimum of 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates must possess the relevant certifications. Documentation experience in instrumentation management systems is preferred. All technicians will have access to training and learning modules.
