Social Services Assistant Requirements:
High School Diploma required
At least one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting
Experience working directly with individuals in a skilled nursing facility preferred
Good organizational and communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Passion for helping residents maintain their psychosocial well-being
As a Skilled, Driven Social Services Assistant, You Will:
Develop and maintain a strong working rapport with caregivers to support residents' psychosocial well-being
Serve as a resident advocate , ensuring their needs are met at all times
Improve the quality and variety of services/activities available to residents
Work with the activities department to involve families and guests in resident activities
Assist in the discharge planning process , including arranging community resources and alternative placements
Participate in the weekend Manager on Duty rotation
